- MaClaren McCann
Everyday I am able to create, to dream, to learn, to inspire, to craft, to listen to the world - the big scapes, the digital corners - and to use that knowledge, that culture, that technology, to make award winning advertising programs for trusting brands like Coke, MasterCard, Xbox, Chevrolet, Durex, Kellogg’s, Buick and Molson Brewery. To inspire and lead my teams to create these “moments of influence” in this transmedia wild west is incredibly exciting. Be it traveling or lecturing, painting or cooking, boardrooms or alleyways - ideas are everywhere. It’s so much fun to find them, sell them, make them and watch how powerful they can become.

- Taxi Studio
I'm the Creative Director, founder and co-owner of Taxi Studio. This role has seen me wear many hats (creative, face of business, admin, strategist, teacher, student, traveller…) this has been challenging, infuriating, worrying, amusing but above all fun.

I joined an agency called Thirteen as a designer where I worked for five years cutting my teeth with clients such as Orange and the BBC. Left to work on my own for two years to allow more freedom and nurtured clients such as Clarks Shoes and Somerfield before going on to set up Taxi Studio.
Founded in 2002, Taxi Studio has amassed over 130 international design awards, including the New York Festivals Grand Award for design as well as receiving honours from the Design Week Awards, London International Awards, Type Directors Club of New York, Communication Arts, One Show, Art Director's Club, Mobius, Clio and of course, D&AD (including, having the honour of judging the 2008 D&AD awards).

Edita's work experience is as universal and dynamic as her life. At the age of 16 she moved from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the States to attend a boarding school. Little did she know, she would stay in the US for college too, and then get an entry level job offer in Sales, Marketing and PR at the Italian jewelry company, Nomination, in their US, Canada and UK headquarters based in New York. After her rise to Marketing and PR Manager there at the age of 25, she moved on to new challenges, pursuing yet another dream - working at the United Nations. In the communications and external relations department, she assists with projects that raise awareness of the organization's mission through events and social media campaigns. Her "elevator pitch" idea for a video featuring the UN Secretary-General resulted in a projection in the middle of Times Square. When not at work she enjoys art, reading, travel and writing. Most recently she received her Master's degree in the History of Art of Venice, while living and researching cross-cultural exchanges in art and architecture in Venice, London, and Dubrovnik. With five languages under her belt and an eye for detail, she is a true Renaissance woman who knows adventure, taste and sophistication. This is her second time on an International Advertising Awards jury.
