Midas Awards, honors the World's Best Financial Marketing & Advertising™. It is the only advertising and marketing competition dedicated to recognizing work created for the financial services communications industry. In 2011, the international competition received entries from 34 countries around the world, experiencing a 29% increase in entries. Entrants include marketers from the banking, brokerage, insurance, mutual fund, credit card, real estate, accounting and consulting companies, as well as professionals at advertising and marketing agencies, design studios and production houses.

2012 Categories
The Midas Awards panel of judges includes client and agency leaders from the creative and marketing disciplines, as well as internationally recognized experts in financial policy and communications. These judges offer their perspectives not only on how well a message is delivered, but how it is received. Gold and Silver Midas ingots are presented to the highest-scoring entries in each category. The King Midas award is selected by the competition's Board of Judges and Advisors as the "Best of Show".
